Hello! My name is Chris Sedayao and I am a product designer that creates intuitive and user-focused digital products. I have 3+ years of experience working within cross-functional teams as a front-end developer in agile environments. I'm originally from the Bay Area but have spent lots of time on the East Coast and all over.

I've always been a people person since I could remember. Whether that's being extroverted or connecting with people through creativity, I always knew that whatever my career was going to be had to involve being people-oriented.

Funny enough, I majored in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology in college. After working on a student-led agile design team as a developer, I realized I enjoyed the process of designing rather than developing. The process focused on empathy and communication, two things I wasn't getting in Computer Science.

I've learned through time that my design style focuses on empathy, clear communication, adaptive visual systems, and balance between play and purpose. Designing has allowed me to blend being creative, technical, and a problem-solver all into one. The best of all worlds.

Aside from designing, I am also an avid record collector, DJ (with an online presence 👀), amateur documentarian, Geoguessr enthusiast, lover of good urban design, art appreciator, cappucino over latte guy, and infrequent Goodreads updater.
